Who you are contracting with

Aratun is operated by Taxten Bilişim Teknolojileri A.Ş. The UK entity, its registered number and its registered address are being confirmed and will be named here before launch.

The service

Aratun is cloud accounting and ERP software. We give you a hosted application, the country tax packs your plan includes, and support. We do not provide accountancy, tax advice or audit.

Your account

You are responsible for who you let into your account and for what they do in it. Tell us promptly if you think a login has been compromised. You must be at least 18 and acting for a business.

Your data is yours

You keep every right in the records you put into Aratun. We hold them to run the service, under the privacy notice. You can export them at any time while your account is open, and for 30 days after it closes.

The launch offer and what you pay

• The first 30 days are free. We ask for a card so nothing stops on day 31, and we take nothing during that period.
• On day 30 we take one payment covering the remaining eleven months of the year. Months two and three are charged at the offer price shown on your plan; months four to twelve at the standard price. The exact figure is shown on the pricing page and again before you confirm.
• Cancel at any point before day 30 and you pay nothing.
• After that payment the term runs for twelve months from the day you started. We do not refund part of a term unless we have broken these terms.
• We email you 30 days before renewal, with the price. Renewal is at the standard annual price, not the offer price.
• All prices exclude VAT. VAT is added at the rate that applies to you.

Cancelling

Cancel from inside the application or by writing to hello@aratun.com. Your account stays open until the end of the term you have paid for. We do not hold your data hostage: you can export it while the account is open and for 30 days afterwards.

Fair use

Unlimited means unlimited for a business using the product normally. It does not cover reselling access, running someone else's clients through one company account, or automated traffic that degrades the service for other customers. If we think something is outside normal use we will speak to you before we act.

Filing and tax

You are responsible for what you file. Aratun prepares a return from your ledger and shows you what it is made of, but you make the declaration and the figures are yours. Aratun is not tax advice, and Aratun is not on the HMRC list of software that works with Making Tax Digital — the moment it is, this page will say so.

Availability

We aim for the service to be available at all times and we will tell you in advance about planned maintenance where we can. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for a failure in your internet connection, your bank's systems, or a tax authority's systems.

Our liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything the law does not allow us to limit. Otherwise our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for lost profit, lost business or indirect loss.

Ending the agreement

You may end it as described above. We may end it if you seriously break these terms and do not put it right within 30 days of us asking, or if you do not pay. We will give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data first.

Changes to these terms

If we change them we will tell you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If a change materially disadvantages you, you may end your subscription and we will refund the unused part of your term.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
